BROWN BEARS CATCH PHILADELPHIA FLYERS NHL GAME ON THE ROAD

The Kenai River Brown Bears went to the Philadelphia Flyers vs the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, January 12. The team ate in Philadelphia before the game at Philips Cheese Steaks. The Flyers beat the Canucks in a shootout. The Brown Bears have now been to one NHL game and two AHL games this season. “We think that it can be a great learning experience as well as fun for the players,” said Head Coach Jeff Worlton. “Watching some of the best players in the world isn’t just entertaining for players, it can serve as a tool that they can use in their play as well.” The Brown Bears also took in some of the sites while in Philadelphia. The team saw the Rocky Statue and the Rocky Steps.
