Bears Lose Tight One to Johnstown

The Kenai River Brown Bears hosted the Johnstown Tomahawks all the way from Pennsylvania. After a a solid first period the game was tied at 0, but saw Kenai out shooting the opponent 17-12. The second period saw more shots and some goals, but from Johnstown. They went into the intermission leading 3-0. The Brown Bears fough back and scored early into the third from Alex Jackstadt (Gessert, Solow), but they couldn't get any more past the Tomahawk goalie. Evan Hauser made 27 saves in the loss.
