SOLDOTNA, AK – On Friday, November 11, the Kenai River Brown Bears battled the Janesville Jets in NAHL Midwest Division Rival. But they didn’t just battle each other that Friday night. The Brown Bears and the Jets teamed up to battle hunger on the Kenai Peninsula. With the help of the Janesville Jets, the Brown Bears were able to donate 260 lbs of food to fight hunger on the Kenai Peninsula over the Holiday season. The Kenai River Brown Bears would like to thank the Janesville Jets and the fans that helped to fight hunger during this Thanksgiving Holiday season. The Brown Bears will continue to battle hunger this Friday night (TONIGHT) against the Springfield Jr. Blues.
