Brown Bears Swept at Home Vs Ice Dogs
After a hard fought effort the night before, the Brown Bears could not find the back of the net as well as they did on Friday. Fairbanks outshot Kenai 20-14 in the first and ended it with a 4-1 lead. Kenai goal came from Tanner Schachle. The second saw the shots even, but Fairbanks taking a 6-1 lead. The Brown Bears scored a late third period goal, but it wasn't enough. Goal from: Joey Sardina (Berglund, Schachle). Alec Derks made 7 saves in the loss and Evan Hauser made 29 saves in relief.
