Brown Bears Take Rubber Match and Weekend Series Vs Coulee
The Brown Bears did not look phased after being shut out the previous night. They stuck to there game, and played physical, and fired shots on net. Kenai out shot coulee 17-7 in the first period and saw two goals from: Bouvet (Andrews, Gessert) and Jack Gessert (Bouvet, Andrews). The second period the Bears could not solve Carlson, and saw there two goal lead slip to one. The third period the Defense tightened up and some big timely saves from Alec Derks left the Brown Bears with a 2-1 victory. Derks made 33 saves in the victory.
Kenai returns to action Thursday January 29 at 7 PM AKST Vs Wenatchee.
