The Kenai River Brown Bears are proud to announce that Jon Marzec will be playing his college hockey for UW-Stout. Jon is originally from Spokane WA and is in his first season with the Brown Bears.
“I am very thankful for the opportunity the Kenai River Brown Bears have provided me with this season. I am very appreciative of Coach Worlton, Coach Dallmann and Coach McGlasson. They have prepared me for playing at the next level. I can’t thank Terry Watkins and his staff enough for this opportunity and am very excited for my next four years at UW-Stout “ says Jon.“
Our Director of Scouting Rich Michalowski was very high on Jon so after getting him in the NAHL Draft our entire staff was excited to see what he could do once the season started” said Head Coach Jeff Worlton.
“Jon is very offensive minded and see’s the ice very well. With Jon’s offensive mind, his ability to be coached and his blue collar style, he will be successful at the college level.”
