Oldham Helping Lead Team USA

Brown Bears Goaltender Backstops Team USA to Opening Game Victories

For most 17-year-olds, simply having the chance to skate for Team USA in the Five Nations Tournament would be the experience of a lifetime, but Brown Bears Goaltender Kris Oldham is taking this opportunity to prove that he is truly one of the strongest young goalies in the game today.

With three games remaining in the tournament for Team USA, Oldham has helped lead the Under-17 Select Team to an impressive 3-0 record, including a 3-2 victory against Slovakia in exhibition play, a 5-2 victory over the Czech Republic in the opening game of the tournament, and a commanding 7-1 victory over Switzerland on Thursday.

During these games, Oldham has posted an impressive 0.930 save percentage while turning aside 40 of 43 shots.

Team USA is back in action on Saturday morning against Germany, and will conclude the tournament with a rematch of Slovakia on Sunday.
