Another Thursday in Brown Bear Nation! This Thursday brings us #7 Joe Rosa, and #31 Kevin Lake in our spotlight, and it is the beginning of an awesome weekend of hockey!!! Kevin, Joe, and the rest of the guys have a three game Home series starting tonight at 7PM against the Springfield Jr. Blues. The added extra is that it’s Parent/ Billet Weekend, and there are gatherings happening all around town with the Brown Bear Parents, and the families that house their Sons! It’s a great time for the Families of our Bears to get to know each other and celebrate the game of hockey! The week was busy for the Bears as always, with the highlight being the delivery of Brown Bear shirts to all our wonderful sponsors! The Businesses that donate to our program help keep our Brown Bears geared up and ready to play! Without them Junior Hockey on the Kenai would not be possible and we, Joe, Kevin and the rest of the Team cannot Thank you all enough for supporting them! While our Players pursue their goals, our Community is fortunate to be spectacularly entertained each weekend with some of the best hockey in the Nation! So… are YOU ready for some Hockey??? Well if you are, punch out of the grind early today and head over to the Sport Center! Joe will be smearing the glass in our D-Zone with “Blue” for your entertainment, and Kevin will be gobbling pucks down like a super charged pac-man if they manage to get close enough to him, all in all it will be a pretty sight, so put on your Brown Bear gear and lets MAKE SOME NOISE in the Sports Center and show our Boy’s parents how much we love our Bears!!!!
