Soldotna, AK – The Kenai River Brown Bears announced Tuesday afternoon the signing of Carson Triggs to a North American Hockey League tender for the 2022-2023 season.
Triggs, a Moorhead, MN native signs with the Brown Bears heading into his senior season with Moorhead High School after finishing playing for Sanford Power in the MN Elite League amassing 7 goals and 19 assists in 22 games. Triggs was also selected to participate in the 2021 IIT where he had 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 games. In his junior campaign at Moorhead High School, Carson helped lead the Spuds to an appearance at the MN State Boys Hockey Class AA Tournament.
“We are thrilled for Carson to be joining the Brown Bears Organization,” said Assistant Coach Taylor Shaw. “Carson is a high energy, 200ft forward who has the ability to create havoc on the forecheck and generate scoring chances. He has continued to make strides in his development the last couple years and we look forward to watching what he can do during his senior year at Moorhead.”
