Quinn and Bushey Receive League Honors
After an impressive 4-0 performance at this week’s NAHL showcase, the accolades continue to mount for the Kenai River Brown Bears, as goaltender Zack Quinn and defenseman Jake Bushey were recently recognized with league honors.
As the only goaltender to earn a 4-0 record in the showcase, Quinn was named Midwest Division Star of the week, after posting a 92.9% save percentage, which included a masterful performance against the defending Robertson Cup Champion Amarillo Bulls. In that contest, Quinn turned away 28 shots en route to a 4-1 Brown Bears victory.
Helping Quinn protect the net was veteran Brown Bear defenseman Jack Bushey, whose 5-point showcase performance appropriately earned him Midwest Division 2nd Star honors.
