Midwest Division Star of the Week: Logan Ritchie, Forward, Kenai River Brown Bears
Kenai River Brown Bears forward Logan Ritchie, 20, put up points in all three games this weekend in a road series against the Janesville Jets. The 5’11/192 lbs. native of O’Fallon, Missouri, put up five points (2 goals, 3 assists) in the series. On Thursday, Ritchie, who will play for the Midwest Team at the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, had a goal in a 4-3 loss. On Friday, Ritchie found the back of the net again, this time in a 5-4 loss. On Saturday, he racked up three assists in a 7-2 win. For the season, Ritchie is 2nd in team scoring with 46 points in 48 games played. “Logan is quietly putting together a very strong season. His consistent production has been key for our team this season. We will look to Logan to continue his success down this final stretch of the season,” said Brown Bears head coach Kevin Murdock.
