Hey Brown Bear Fans! If your looking for a good way to spend your Saturday morning before going to cheer on your favorite team on Saturday night, then you may want to do what the guys are doing! The Brown Bears are stopping in to visit the U12 tier II KPHA team as they hold their fundraising breakfast at the Soldotna Regional Sports Center in the conference room. The guys will be mixing and mingling with the crowd from 9-10 AM, so its a perfect time for you to talk to your favorite player, and to support Youth Hockey on the Kenai Peninsula.
This U12 Tier II team is heading to Arizona for a hockey tournament in February, and tho the Brown Bears have a big game against the Minot Minotauros on Saturday night, they are making a breakfast visit before their Game Day practice to support these young players as they reach for their goals. The Breakfast will be from 9 AM til 11 AM and the Brown Bears will be there from 9 AM til 10 AM before Coach Petrich wants them on the ice!!! So stop by and lend your support to Youth Hockey in your Hometown and help these young players show the Lower 48 how we play hockey in Alaska! And while your there, say “Hi” to the guys and talk some hockey!
Go Bears!
