Ryan Murphy joins the Brown Bears as a U. S. Regional Scout, bringing with him a strong background of leadership and on-ice performance. A two-time captain of the Babson College NCAA Division III hockey team, Murphy was a 2023โ€“2024 finalist for the prestigious Joe Concannon Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England. As a freshman, he led the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) in rookie scoring.

A native of Michigan, Murphy was named First Team All-State and MIHL League MVP during his high school career. His combination of hockey IQ, leadership experience, and deep roots in the game make him a valuable addition to the Brown Bearsโ€™ scouting staff.
